TwoCut Tools makes practical calculators for hands-on projects. This site estimates landscape fabric cuts, whole rolls, and edge and seam pins for rectangular, circular, and corner-notched L-shaped footprints.

How the numbers are checked

JavaScript runs the live calculator in your browser. An independent Python implementation builds the worked pages. Fixed hand calculations, generated examples, and geometry and purchase invariants check that the results agree.

Assumptions you can inspect

Circle cuts use a bounding square. L-shapes use two panels with an overlapping join. Roll remnants are not shared between panels. Pin counts include seam endpoints but exclude additional field anchors and plant-hole pins. The home guide explains these choices and their limits.
